EVERYTHING WE SELL IS RETURNABLE! And you have 60 DAYS to return for refund or 90 days for exchange (we do not refund the cost for shipping).

VERY EASY STEPS:
Pick one of the following methods -

1) SEND YOUR ITEM BACK WITH A NOTE INSIDE
Tell us what you want us to replace (include the size, color and item number).

OR

2) ORDER THE NEW SIZE YOU WANT RIGHT FROM OUR WEBSITE
And send us the item you want us to replace while we ship your new item.

OR

3) CALL US TO ORDER A DIFFERENT ITEM - 410-990-0005 or toll-free 888-366-8975
And send us the item you want us to replace while we ship your new item.

***If you ask us to ship a second item - remember: you are responsible for the shipping charges of the outgoing order. We will contact you to obtain payment information.***

OR

4) REFUND: Don't want it? Send it back with a note saying you'd like a refund, and let us know why you're returning the item(s). We'll refund your purchase price (we do not refund the cost of shipping). Please note: We are unable to process a refund if your return is processed 60+ days after the purchase date. If we are unable to process a refund, you will be issued store credit. THIS RARELY HAPPENS - BUT IF YOUR RETURN TAKES LONGER THAN 30 DAYS TO GET BACK HERE, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY/PAYPAL WILL NOT ALLOW US TO PROCESS A REFUND AND WE WILL HAVE TO GIVE YOU STORE CREDIT (sorry! we'll try, but this is something we don't control!).

REMEMBER TO INSURE THE RETURN PACKAGE.
Until it reaches us - you are responsible for it. When it arrives we will refund your purchase price minus the original cost of shipping.

NOTE: We do not accept returns on:

  • Any clothing item that has been used or altered.
  • Footwear that has been worn off the carpet.
  • DVDs: We will only refund if they are unopened and sent back within 90 days.
  • Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable. Merchandise purchased with a dancestore.com gift card will be subject to our normal return policy. Any refund due will be credited back to the gift card.

IMPORTANT: About our dance shoes... We sell specialty footwear - they do not wear like your ski boots... please consider them "equipment" - not the last pair of shoes you will ever buy. If they were made to last forever they would be hiking boots. Depending on the amount of abuse they get they should last a year or two. The uppers usually wear out before the soles do.

We stand behind our products and if there's any kind of defect that shows up within 6 months of purchase of footwear that you have used we will pay for the repair.

Please read:
Items must be returned in LIKE NEW condition and in original box. (In case you're wondering, clothing that has been altered or footwear that has been worn off the carpet in are no longer LIKE NEW).

Please understand, we are just like any other shoe or clothing store. We cannot accept used footwear or altered clothing back. If you return items that have obviously been used or altered, we will mark the box "return to sender" and send it back to you (yes, this happens at least once every two years!).

If any item is defective or has been sent to you in error, please contact us immediately.
